ABOUT US
KID’S CLUBHOUSE was established over 12 years ago, by special
education teacher, Nancy May and fellow instructors, Jane Brooks
and Kyle Costello. The three were moms looking for something
more…a place for other moms to meet, a place for children to have
fun and play and in the process grow and learn in a healthy, clean
environment. In February 2006, Felisa Mettille signed on as the new
owner. As a previous customer, and with five daughters of her own, her
children loved the instructors and she loved the clean atmosphere
and the nursery room. At KID’S CLUBHOUSE, she could interact with
one child in a class, while her other daughters were warmly tended to
in the childcare center. KID’S CLUBHOUSE has grown from a church
room in Midland Park to a multi-classroom location and has served
thousands of children in neighboring Bergen County towns and
beyond. The programs range from Mommy & Me classes and when
the child is ready they can move on to the popular, FUNdamentals, a
first-time separation class. All the programs are designed for the
appropriate age groups. The programs emphasize fine and gross
motor skills, visual stimulation, movement, social skills in a non-
competitive, non-threatening environment. Our motto: “Bringing
parents into their child’s world.” We invite you to come see what we’re
all about.
